With help from various Councils, we have compiled a list of licenced window cleaners in areas where the licence is required.

Why choose a Licensed Window Cleaner?
Under the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 if a Council chooses to licence window cleaners those carrying on the trade of, or being employed as window cleaner are required to be licensed. Under Section 7 (1) of the 1982 Act it is an offence to carry on the trade of, or be employed as a window cleaner without a licence.
Each licensed window cleaner has to be Police checked
Each licensed window cleaner has to be Insured
Each licensed window cleaner has to be comply with HSE regulations
Each Council area a seperate licence is required
